Procurement Manager

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Produce a detailed programme of purchasing priorities with the design team prior to FF&E ordering to ascertain timeline, budget & deadlines.
  • Assist with the FF&E tender process when required.
  • Assist the FF&E team in procuring finishes and information necessary to complete the detailed specification.
  • Create and place purchase orders with suppliers for items selected and designed by designers and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Ensure that all items being ordered are compliant with any necessary regulations.
  • Check costs to ensure FF&E purchases remain within budget and improve profitability whenever possible.
  • Process orders on receipt of invoices and liaise with accounts on payments. Also, ensure refunds and credits are collected.
  • Pro-actively develop good relationships with current & new suppliers to negotiate the best terms.
  • Progress all orders, providing timely updates to the FF&E team & carry out all associated administration.
  • Compile quotes for storage, installation, and deliveries.
  • Coordinate key deliveries to site during installation and produce a schedule for all parties involved.
  • Management of inventories for international projects and liaising with the removals and storage company to co-ordinate installations abroad. Including arranging payment of freight and duty charges.
  • Quality checking orders as they arrive, including organising factory visits along with the FF&E design team to monitor bespoke FF&E.
  • Resolve queries and disputes with suppliers in a professional manner.
  • Preparing O&A manuals to present to clients with certificates and warranties for all items procured.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Proficient in Estimac and Microsoft Office, with a good understanding of the procurement process.
  • Able to work collaboratively with the Interior Design team and our suppliers.
  • A creative approach to problem solving and an ability to use one’s initiative.

Junior Interior Designer

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in all stages of the design process under direction of the middle-weight and senior designers.
  • Put together schedules, specifications and design intent packages to a high quality.
  • Conduct site visits and liaise with trades.
  • Sourcing and general research of materials, finishes and FF&E.
  • Liaising with suppliers for samples, pricing and following up on lead times.
  • Ordering in samples and managing the samples library.
  • Developing floor plans, elevations and space planning.
  • Putting together fabric and finishes schemes for review.
  • Placing orders and assisting in the procurement process.
  • Providing general administrative support for the office.
  • Responsible for incoming and outgoing post and deliveries to the studio.
  • Booking couriers for the FF&E team as required.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Must have minimum 1 year of relevant industry experience and able to demonstrate an understanding of luxury / high-end private residential projects.
  • Relevant Interior Design / Interior Architecture Qualification.
  • Candidate should have on site experience and some knowledge of liaising with architects, contractors, and suppliers.
  • They should be fluent in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, In Design and Adobe Photoshop with strong project management & organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office with some experience of using EstiMac.

Interior Designer

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Participate in all stages of the design process from concept to completion, reporting to the directors across multiple UK and International projects.
  • Lead the creative development of concepts, FF&E design and space planning to the highest level.
  • Inspire and motivate the design team, overseeing Middleweight & Junior Designers across projects.
  • Prepare and develop presentations for client meetings, with assistance from more junior members of the team.
  • Co-ordinate and oversee project documentation such as schedules, specifications and design intent packages are being produced to a high quality.
  • Monitoring the daily tasks of Mid Weight & Junior Designers and ensuring that all administrative records are being completed thoroughly and company standards are being met.
  • Provide regular updates to the directors.
  • Conduct site visits and liaise with trades, managing information provided by suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Put together costings and budgets with financial understanding.
  • Lead the procurement process.
  • Manage project programmes under the direction of the directors, with assistance from Mid Weight & Junior Designers, ensuring a seamless project delivery.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • Must have minimum 6 years of professional experience in a design studio and a portfolio of projects worked on at a high level in the residential sector.
  • Relevant Interior Design / Interior Architecture Qualification.
  • They should be fluent in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, In Design and Adobe Photoshop with strong project management & organisational skills.
  • Proficient in Estimac and Microsoft Office, with a good understanding of the FF&E procurement process.
  • Candidate should have on site experience and knowledge of liaising with architects, contractors, and suppliers.
  • Ability to interface with clients, hold their own and interpret and deliver their requirements.
  • Vast knowledge of FF&E suppliers, products and finishes.

Interior Architect

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Work alongside the Interior Design team to translate a client’s brief and develop the concept for the architectural space.
  • Space planning and producing detailed drawing packages for lighting, joinery, kitchens and bathrooms under the direction of the senior interior architects and directors.
  • Putting together schedules and specifications of free issue items in relation to the interior architecture.
  • Providing administrative support on projects.
  • Visiting site to conduct surveys and ensure that design details are being carried out correctly.
  • Assisting on the project programme during initial architectural stages of a project and managing deliveries and installations of interior architectural elements.
  • Assisting with the design of bespoke furniture items.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in a design studio and a portfolio of projects worked on at a high level.
  • Fluent in 2D and 3D computer skills including AutoCad and Sketch Up.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite with high level skills in Adobe Photoshop rendering.
  • Knowledge of current building regulations and a practical understanding of technical / construction details.
  • Experience in producing detailed design packages for tender.
  • Excellent spatial planning skills.
